Supper Book Club - Behind The Beautiful Forevers

We will be reading Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo
Copies of the book are available to borrow at the Circulation Desk.

Every month food is ordered from a local restaurant, to be delivered to the library at 5:30 pm, the day of the meeting.  If possible, the food will relate thematically to the book. Or not!  The menu is available at the Circulation Desk and is emailed to everyone registered to attend that month.  Participants select and pay for their menu items before the meeting. Please leave your money at the Circulation Desk by 1:30 pm, the day of the book club meeting for that month.
**Please feel free to bring your own supper.
Coffee, tea and water are provided by the library.

Introduction to Grant Seeking for Individuals

Did you know that the library has access to information on 100,000 grantmakers and 2.3 million grants?  Grant funds for individual endeavors such as education, research and artistic pursuits are not that easy to find.  Attend this class to learn about the Foundation Grants to Individuals database, GrantSpace.org and other helpful resources.  A working knowledge of the Internet and
Windows are needed for this hands-on session.

Directed by Ava DuVerney. Nominated for Best Picture, the film won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
