Non-traditional Certified Production Technician (CPT) Program to be Offered
Program begins January 26th
A $30,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation was awarded to the Training Consortium of South Central Kentucky to help further their mission of providing affordable, customized and flexible training options for the current and future workforce. This money will be used to launch a non-traditional Certified Production Technician (CPT) program.

Rather than being offered as a full day, four week program, the Training Consortium's partner - Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College (SKYCTC) will offer a CPT program in the evenings. The goal is to provide employers with skilled, trained employees that will increase overall productivity in the workplace.

For information about the CPT program, please contact Camille Padilla. In the last four years over 1,470 individuals have participated in training facilitated by the Training Consortium. Download (.pdf) information about the Certified Production Technician program.
