A Message from Barbara Beizer, Board President 2013-2015

Barbara Beizer has completed her two year term as President of the TTN Board of Directors. It's been an amazing time of growth for our organization. Please read Barbara's message to you, our members, as she steps down as President, but continues her service as a member of the Board.    Read More...
Thank You to Our Retiring Board Members

Three of our esteemed Board members are moving on after serving TTN for many, many years.

Ellen Bartoldus, Diane Levine and Barbara Hoenig each served on the TTN Board of Directors for many years.  They gave of their time, talent and treasure to help build a solid foundation on which we can grow.  We heartily thank them for their service and look forward to their continued involvement as members of TTN.

Board members are leaders.  They work to ensure the health and welfare of TTN by protecting our brand and directing our growth.  They make decisions that are in the best interest of TTN as a whole.

Board Members also support.  And in the case of TTN, this is particularly true.  Our board members do much more than just show up for an occasional meeting.  They serve on committees that have specific tasks and goals designed to support the strategic plan.  They attend monthly board meetings, either in person or on a conference call, to review the progress of their committees, discuss what's ahead, direct and protect TTN. Ours is a working board in every sense of the word.

It's not easy being a leader yet each of these women has taken on that role with enthusiasm, energy, drive, and commitment.  They believe in the mission of TTN and use their intelligence, experience and expertise to make sure we continue to thrive.

Please take a moment to read about all of our Board members on our website.  And when you get a chance, thank them for their service to us all.
Thank you for Leading Our Chapters

Leading a chapter is a labor of love.  And we love, and are exceedingly grateful to these  women who are passing the torch to new volunteers.  What you have given to our members and to TTN during your time of service is immeasurable.

Rhoda Margolis, Atlanta; Carol Oswald, Central Ohio; Roberta Taylor, Boston; Catherine Radbill, Philadelphia; Jutta von Gontard, Santa Fe.

I have worked with each of these women over the past two years and can tell you from personal experience that not only do they bring their own unique strengths to the role, they share a common appreciation of the mission of TTN.  They endeavor to deliver an exceptional membership experience, to grow their chapters and to contribute to the success of our organization as a whole.  They are entrepreneurs.  They took on the role of leader to make a difference.  And they have.

Thank you Rhoda, Carol, Roberta, Catherine and Jutta.  You have moved us forward.  We will stand on your shoulders as we continue to build and grow TTN.
The Season of Giving

Thank you for supporting the 2015 Annual Appeal.  You donated over $6,200 to support The National Domestic Violence Hotline.  Click here to read more about this successful outreach and the heartfelt thank you note from Katie Ray-Jones, CEO of The Hotline.

Thanks to you, we also can report a successful Annual Appeal.  As you know TTN is funded by membership dues, Board member contributions and the generosity of members who can do a little more.  Our 2015 goal was $19,000.  Between the Annual Appeal and the Giving Tuesday initiative, you contributed over $22,000 to support the National organization. These funds allow us to continue the work of supporting women in transition and offer the generous donation to The Hotline.

Thank you!
