Please join us as we kick off the 2014-2015 season of The Culinary Guild! The Opening Meeting will be held on Monday, September 15th at the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown.
SOCIALIZE:
Enjoy a glass of wine, a few hors d’oeuvres, and mingle with the crowd. This would be a good time to welcome the new members who have joined CGNE since the Boston Chapter of The American Institute of Wine & Food (AIWF) closed in February.
MEETING:
Learn about the programs planned for this year: Supper Clubs, Book Club, Culinary Book Club, neighborhood culinary tours, demonstrations, hands-on programs, and out-of-town foodie trips. Come share your ideas! Volunteer!
SPEAKER:
We are delighted to have one of our Guild members, P.K. Newby, discuss her new book, Foods for Health: Choose and Use the Very Best Foods for Your Family and the Planet, to be published on September 9th by National Geographic. P.K. is a Harvard-trained scientist and serious foodie, who has more than 15 years of experience researching diet, obesity and chronic diseases.
MEMBERSHIP:
Membership forms will be available so you may join or renew your membership in the Culinary Guild. Remember that the special price, $75 for regular membership and $45 for junior (under 30) and senior (65+) membership, is only good through September 30, 2014. After September 30th, the regular price will be $85, the junior/senior will be $50.
Cost to attend opening meeting is $20. We hope to see you there!
