Remember to use good judgment and don't venture out if conditions feel unsafe.

Worship this week - March 16th

Guest preacher, Rev. Carolyn Helsel's sermon is "The Wind Blows Where It Will" based on John 3.1-17. Nicodemus approaches Jesus at night, and learns that the Spirit of God is like the wind, blowing where it will. Is Nicodemus ready for this wind to blow through his life? Are we?

Meats and Sweets!
chili cook off and pie auction This Sunday from 6:00-8:00pm, we will have a unique fundraising event. Meats and Sweets includes a Chili Cookoff and and apple pie auction! The apple pies to be auctioned will be made by our students attending the mission trips (with much love & care and the assistance of a select few head bakers.) Cost is only $5/person, $15/family for chili and, if you choose to participate in the auction, whatever your winning bid may be on an apple pie! So bring your best recipe! (Or just eat!) Sign up on sheets posted in the lobby or online here and let us know how many people are coming and if you are bringing some chili, salad or bread. Proceeds will help fund the Youth Group Mission trips.

Presbytery Meeting
PCIS will be hosting the Presbytery meeting on Monday, March 24th, starting at 6:00 pm. We need to provide 100 meals. You can sign up to provide entrees, salads, sandwiches, or desserts on the sign up sheet in the foyer on online here. We also need volunteers to help with clean-up at 7:00 pm when the meeting moves to the Sanctuary. If you have questions, please contact Ted Welte.
Babies, Babies, Babies
Prayers of joy for the arrivals of four new babies in the church family in the last three weeks! What a joy for which we give thanks.
Lucy Elizabeth Warden (6 lbs. 7 oz.), daughter of Jake and Katie Warden, born on February 22nd. JJ and Ellie are very excited about their new baby sister, and Mom and Dad are thrilled to now be a family of five.
Tallulah Smoler-Curran (7 lbs, 6 oz.) on March 6th. She is the happy and healthy new daughter of Pete and Rebecca Smoler-Curran.
Christopher and Aaron O'Keefe (both 6 lbs, 5 oz.), twin sons of Ruth and Jason O'Keefe, grandsons of Dave and Kathy Jacob, born on March 11th. Babies and mother are healthy and doing well.
March Fellowship Brunch

Who remembers the "4th Sunday Brunch"? This month, we are having a Last Sunday Brunch! Please join us Sunday, March 30th at noon in the Fellowship Hall for a nice fellowship event to meet and get to know more members of the church family. Sandwiches will be provided. Bring a salad or dessert to share if you wish!

Worship at Wingate

Join us Sunday at 1:00pm as we minister to God's older children. Volunteers are always needed. The number of Wingate folks able to attend worship is dependent upon the number of PCIS volunteers who are able to help out. Contact Susan DeHoff with questions at [email protected].

Keep your contact information up-to-date!
