Dear Members:

Check your U.S. mail today.  You should have a letter from the Chamber discussing Hello Habersham, the county's resource guide, that will be published March 28th.  Hello Habersham is a partnership of the Chamber and The Northeast Georgian.  In addition to the newspapers' initial mailing of nearly 13,000 copies, this guide is used by the Chamber all year long as the resource guide for visitors, newcomers, and potential business prospects.  This publication provides visitors, as well as locals, up-to-date information on county and municipal governments, county-wide agencies and organizations including economic development data, visitor attractions, entrepreneurship resources, a business directory and much more.

The letter explains the opportunity for your business to be included in this guide.  An ad in Hello Habersham will work for you all year long.  For more information on how to be included,

contact The Northeast Georgian at 706-778-4215 or the Chamber at 706-778-4654.

HABERSHAM COUNTY DAY at the CAPITOL

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Help make Georgia legislators aware of Habersham
County!  The Habersham County Chamber of Commerce is developing the county's fourth "Habersham County Day at the Capitol" for Wednesday, February 19, 2014.  Working with Senator John Wilkinson and Representatives Terry Rogers and Dan Gasaway, the purpose of the trip is for economic development awareness.   A bus will leave the Cornelia Depot at 7:00 a.m. and, hopefully, arrive at the capitol about 9:00 a.m.  The group should be back in Habersham by 4:00 p.m. or before.

A few seats are still available on the bus.  A fee of $30 will cover riding the bus and having lunch with the group at the capitol.  Those who drive and join the group at the capitol will need to pay the Chamber $20 for lunch.  All attendees need to register with the Chamber.
