RBC Donation to EPICentre
 
EPICentre is thrilled to announce an $800,000 donation by the Royal Bank of Canada Foundation to support the RBC EPIC Founders. The donation was announced at a press release Tuesday October 13th and will help EPICentre to foster the growing entrepreneurial spirit across the University of Windsor.

EPIC Discovery Membership Program: Inaugural Cohort  

The EPIC Discovery Membership Program has officially kicked-off at EPICentre. The program allows students to validate their ideas before entering further EPICentre programs. Students successfully completing this program will be eligible for the EPIC Founders program run from May - July. READ MORE 
EPIC Cross-Border Grant: Fall 2015 Cohort
 
The EPIC Cross-Border Grant has begun this term with three successful startups looking to expand their market to the U.S. With the help of funding from the Cross-Border Institute, these entrepreneurs will be spending the next 3-4 months researching their best entry into Michigan.    READ MORE 
2015 Cultural Entrepreneurship Workshop
 
The room is filled with artists, musicians, actors and actresses intently listening to the speaker onstage, as Katie Leamen shares the story of how she came to be a Writer, Producer, Actor, founding member of the theatre collective No Porpoise as well as Director of Coordination and Communications at the Small Theatre Administrative Facility (STAF) in Toronto. Global Start Voucher Pilot Program 
 
OCE is proud to announce their GlobalStart Voucher Pilot Program. The program provides up to $15,000 in support of young entrepreneurs for placement with a host incubator/accelerator in a selected global market. OCE's support must be matched 1:1 by the startup. The length of placement is flexible based on the young entrepreneur's needs, but anticipated to last between 3 to 6 months. Applicants can find their own global incubator/accelerator host, or request an introduction to potential hosts with whom OCE has developed relationships in key markets. READ MORE  
2015 Biotechnology Entrepreneurship Symposium   

The first ever Biotechnology Entrepreneurship Symposium was held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at the University of Windsor, CAW Student Centre. The symposium was geared towards emerging biotechnology professionals - students with an entrepreneurial interest, future technology trend-setters and scientists who are exploring how to commercialize their discoveries (from bench to market) and existing start-ups aiming for a sustainable future.
