April 15 - Jackie Robinson Day
 
Tonight at baseball stadiums all across the United States, ballplayers and spectators will pause to reflect on Jackie Robinson's historic contributions to sports and society as a whole. Athletes and baseball staff will also wear the number "42" on jerseys to honor this legend. Sixty-seven years ago today, Jackie stepped on Ebbot's Field as a Brooklyn Dodger. He became the first black man to play Major League Baseball.
