On Saturday come and enjoy a bus tour from Delphos, Van Wert, Celina and Wapak.  This Bus will begin at Jubilee Winery/ Delphos Area Art Guild with vendors and a holiday gift shoppe and great wine tasting for those who get on the bus!  The shoppes visit highlight local artisans and have great food and sips at each stop.  Once I Was in Van Wert, Java Nation in Celina, Casa Chic and Rverside Art Center in Wapak and Jubilee Winery and DAAG in Delphos.

First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. November 27, 2010 was the first ever Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday is the day we celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.

This is your opportunity to support small businesses and all they do for the local community and economy. So shop on November 28th, and do your part to help make this Small Business Saturday one of the biggest shopping days of the year for small businesses.

Is your business offering special deals or open extended hours that day?  Share your Shop Small advertisement with us by the end of the day Tuesday, November 24th and we will include it in an E-blast on Wednesday, as well as share it on Facebook.  To participate, just respond to this email with the ad attached (preferably in PDF or Jpeg format).  We would like to support your Shop Small endeavors to the fullest and help to increase your foot traffic that day!

The Kiwanis Club of Delphos would like to invite all businesses to participate in a Lighted Santa Parade on Friday December 4. The parade will kick off at 6:30pm from the Delphos Herald Parking Lot on Main Street. Decorate your car, truck, golf cart, wagon or just decorate yourself with Christmas lights and join the parade that welcomes Santa to town. No need to pre-register, simply meet at the parking lot and join in on the fun.

 

Downtown businesses are also invited to decorate their store windows for everyone to enjoy as Santa passes by. Numerous activities will be taking place on Main Street and on Second Street (between Main and Washington). A complete schedule of events will be released soon.
