SENIORS HOUSING & CARE JOURNAL

The Seniors Housing & Care Journal produced by Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging and the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing and Care provides research and commentary on topics relevant to professionals in the seniors housing industry. The 2015 edition focus on issues related to resident quality of life and community operations such as:
  • How "feeling at home" is more strongly related to residents' sense of camaraderie than it is to quantities of activities or amenity spaces available in their communities
  • Designing environments for older adults with dementia to optimize perception and cognition
