Sunday Service December 6, 2015
10:00 AM
December's worship theme is stretching ourselves.
A potter isn't in control of the clay any more than
you are in control of your life.
Both are works in process and always evolving.
Can we live life surrendering our drive for complete control?
Worship Leader: Rev. Russ Menk
Worship Associate: Lorraine Sandoval-Vigil

Thanks to Volunteers
Volunteering is vital to our Fellowship. Many of the jobs involve serving on committees (which report to the Board) or teams (which receive guidance from our minister). Serving on the Worship Team and singing in the choir are essential contributions to our Sunday services which are a cornerstone of our Fellowship. Also essential to our Sunday services is the Hospitality Team which provides nourishing and delicious food. Woody Woods takes care of the grass cutting, tree pruning, and recently removed a tree which was overhanging the Fellowship entrance. Woody's contributions save the Fellowship thousands of dollars a year and keep the campus looking good. For the past several weeks, David Wilson volunteered to clean the three lavatories and the kitchen, a job which we formerly paid a contractor to do.
The Fellowship is your community, and there are volunteer jobs for everyone's interests, skills, and time availability. Talk with Bonnie McDonald, our volunteer coordinator, about opportunities which feel right to you.

Blessing of the Animals, Sunday: December 13, 2015
Bring your friends and their pets to church!
A service for all ages and all species! All pets who are friendly with other pets are welcome on leash or in a carrier. For those pets overwhelmed by such events, their person can bring a picture. We will take a moment to remember pets who are no longer with us if you would like to bring a picture of them as well. For our younger generations, if you have a special stuffed toy animal who needs a blessing, please bring them as well.

Guest at Your Table--Helping Others
Please remember to fill your "Guest at Your Table" box when you have guests!
This is for a great cause. The UU Service Committee helps people around the world to help themselves. They have helped build water systems, schools and many other community benefits.
The boxes ( or checks ) will be collected until December 13, during the service or send checks to the office. If you write a check, please write in the memo line "Guest at Your Table" or "UU Sevice Committee". Thanks !
