Along with lobbying and grassroots involvement, CPh-PAC is a pillar of CPhA's advocacy efforts and has enabled CPhA to become one of the most respected and recognized associations in the Capital.  CPh-PAC supports candidates and legislators who understand our mission.

We understand that not everyone can afford to make a contribution at the Gold or Platinum Circle level.  However, we have strength in numbers and if every CPhA member can make a contribution of at least $50 we will make significant progress towards our fundraising goal!

Support from our PAC has helped make pharmacist provider status possible.  We have also expanded opportunities for pharmacists' services by allowing pharmacists to perform CLIA-waived tests and furnish naloxone (Narcan).  We can't lose momentum on achieving our goals in the Capital in 2015!

CPhA is working hard to protect your business and your profession on the following issues:

  • Fair credentialing and reimbursement of pharmacists for clinical services.
  • Broader coverage of MTM services and preserving the patient-pharmacist relationship.
  • Fighting against new unnecessary and burdensome regulations.
  • Expanding the types of lab tests that can be done in pharmacies.
  • Protecting law-abiding pharmacists and patients in the fight against prescription drug abuse.

These changes are possible, but only with your help.
