Ashley's Puts the "Brews" in 4th Annual Blues, Brews, & BBQ Festival

Westland, MI - Ashley's Beer & Grill of Westland will be bringing the flavor for the brews at this year's 4th Annual All-American Blues, Brews, and Barbecue festival. Ashley's has been the brew-master every year of the festival.

Attendees will have a wide selection of refreshing local handcrafted brews to wash down their barbecued food. The Craft Brewers Association has recognized Ashley's as one of the "Great American Beer Bars."

"We'll be offering only handcrafted beers and most are from local Michigan breweries. As we say, 'Michigan beers mean Michigan jobs,'" said Roy More, one of the co-owners since Ashley's inception. "They are great beers, and we like to support local Michigan businesses."

Ashley's has a line-up of 10 beers slated for the weekend, but will rotate in new brews as others get tapped out.

Ashley's first opened in Ann Arbor, MI 31 years ago in 1983. In 2007, they opened up a second home in Westland, and it has been a hit ever since. They are known for their award-winning beer selection, delicious food menu, and genuine hospitality.

You can check-out Ashley's full menu and beer selection at their Westland location on their website: http://www.ashleys.com/wsmenu.xhtml

The City of Westland would also like to remind all in attendance who choose to sample the beer selection to please drink responsibility. If you are going with a group, it is strongly encouraged to have a designated driver.

For more information, contact Aubrey Berman, Administrative Secretary, at (734) 467-3200.
