Lean Certification for the Healthcare Leader

BATON ROUGE 

eQHealth Solutions is contracting with Erin Zeringue, FACHE, CPHQ and president of A3 Solutions, LLC, to provide a custom two-day course for Lean certification. These sessions will provide skills transfer in principles of Lean and its application to healthcare.  Ms. Zeringue, who is a General Electric certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, provides a blended approach of lecture, simulation and hands-on application.

Each hospital will have the opportunity to send two (2) individuals who are motivated and able to bring the principles they have learned back to their facilities.

The sessions will give participants the ability to:

• Understand the principles of Lean methodology.
• Differentiate value-added activities from non-value added activities (waste), and specify the standard type of waste.
• Apply Lean process awareness and improvement tools in their organizations.
• Become aware of Advanced Lean improvement tools.
• Learn critical success factors for anchoring Lean principles in organizational culture.
