Did You Know?

Happy Sewing Month!
Did you know that it costs $800 to purchase and operate a new sewing machine for Textile Center's educational programs? Our machines got a heavy workout this summer during six weeks of summer camp sessions of over 100 kids. After years of service helping youth and adult students learn sewing skills, it's time for several of these trusty workhorses to retire.

Why not commemorate this special month by adopting a new Textile Center machine - we'll even give you naming rights! For only $800 - or just a bit over $2 a day - we can get a new machine up and running, and continue to spread a love of sewing to thousands of current and future students. Adopt a Textile Center sewing machine.
