We don't want to speak too soon, but the last couple of days have given us hope that spring is on the way! Celebrate with farm fresh goodies from your favorite vendors from the Greenbelt Farmers Market.
Although we don't start officially until Mother's Day, a few vendors are dropping off pre-ordered products in Greenbelt the third Sunday of the month at 10am (Ferguson at 11am).
The vendors listed below plan to participate. Please see their ordering instructions.
Ferguson Family Farms
Select products from the Product List provided on the the www.fergusonfamilyfarm.com website.
Send Lynne and e-mail and include:
- Product Selection,
- Quantity OF ITEMS
- Indicate Greenbelt as your Pick Up Location.
- Pick up time is 11am
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. Also taking orders for grass-fed beef and Berkshire pork.
Shlagel Farms
Please email Karl at [email protected] to let him know what you would like/be interested in. He will have brown eggs, kale, beets, potatoes, full-size onions, green onions, leeks, sweet potatoes and acorn squash.
Three Springs Fruit Farm
Check out the Buyer's Club 2014 page on the website for ordering instructions/deadlines but the cliff notes version can be characterized as the following: Order deadline for March 16th delivery is 3/14 (Friday) at noon. All orders after noon the Friday before will be bumped to the following month's delivery. Greenbelters can also find the full array of Three Springs products at Silver Spring Farmers Market all winter long, 10-1 (starting in January) on Ellworth Drive between Fenton and Georgia - just up US-29 from GFM. Hours are 9-1 for the remainder of December.
