ISEA 2014 Fall Meeting Schedule and Registration

 

The Fall Meeting is ISEA's largest national meeting. It's a time for product groups and committees to do the essential work of the association - developing standards, formulating policy positions and planning for the future. It's also a time for member company representatives to network with peers in the industry.

ISEA's annual forum for the personal protective equipment (PPE) user community will be held Tuesday, September 16, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the National Safety Council Expo in San Diego, Calif. This year, the forum will focus on working safely in confined spaces.

Appeals Court Tosses $2.5M Fall Case Verdict Against PPL
 

In the court's opinion, the plaintiff did not prove that PPL Electric Utilities had control over the manner in which independent contractors such as the plaintiff, who was hired to paint transmission poles, operated including how they used safety equipment.
