The configuration for this race will be as shown on the attached drawing which is run in the counter clockwise direction. Practice will be available on Friday the 18th from 9-until
Camping will be available Friday night ONLY.

Registration on race day will be open from 7 AM - 11AM. Practice will begin at 9 AM Saturday morning.
Carolina Motorsports Park in conjunction with Gold Speed racing products and Maxxis tires would like to welcome our fellow racers to the Maxxis Summer shootout. All participants will be on the Maxxis SLR tire in which one set will be provided with your entry. We have limited the field to the following classes:
(1) "micro" Tag (2) "mini" Tag (3) Junior Tag (4) Senior Tag (5) Senior B&S LO206
(6) Junior LO206 and or LO206 Cadet(minimum participation required)
All Rotax Engines running under the Rotax Challenge rules must be sealed before they go on track. Any removal of any seals once official practice has begun must be done in the presence of the tech official. All Rotax drivers must also have their engine passports available. We are privileged that the main tech inspector for our races is a class A certified Rotax tech inspector. Micro and Mini tag will be Rotax only all other TAG engines and unsealed Rotax engines in Junior and Senior will go by SKUSA rules with weights at 330lb for junior and 375 for senior to even the playing field. All LO206 drivers will follow the Briggs & Stratton rule book at weights of 360lb for senior, 320lb junior (yellow slide) and 265lb for cadet (red slide).
The pre-registration entry fee for the event will be $220 for mini,micro and Cadet LO206 all other classes will be $240. This includes one set of Maxxis SLR tires, race entry, gate entry for driver and transponder if needed. For all non participants and spectators there will be $10 gate fee. Extra sets of tires will be available at the Kart shop if needed for practice. All pre registrations should be paid in full by July 13,2014 after that or the day of the race there will be a $30 late registration fee.
There will be Cash prizes and or products awarded to the top three in each class, once the details of sponsors and payouts are decided we will send out another email within the next week to break down the awards.
Immediately following the finals we will have a 1 1/2 hour enduro race on our rental karts. We will limit this to eight teams, a team consist of a minimum of three drivers. Entry per team will be $180 and awards will be provided to the winning team. This typically fills up fast so call today to reserve your spot!
