Hello!
Sweet Summertime! School is almost out, the weather is warming up and it's time to get outside! I wanted to share three HOT apps with you this month that are perfect for family vacations, camping trips or even just quick day hikes. My favorite is Google Sky Maps which allows you to point your phone up at the night sky and see what stars, constellations, planets, etc. you are looking at. Also, read below to see why you might need to put some socks on your forks (no, they aren't cold). We are still doing the "Look for your Name" contest below so check it out to see if you won a $25 gift card this month! Cresco Equipment Rentals is in the Spotlight this month and as always, thank you for reading!

Hot! Hot! Hot!
Must Have Apps for the Summer
It's that time of year! Whether you're packing up the family for a vacation, taking a quick camping trip or even just looking for a daytime hike in your area these are three must have apps of the season! Even better, they are all free!
|
Sky Map:
Helps you to explore the Universe using your Android phone. This practical app lets you pinpoint the exact location of the stars, planets and other celestial objects in the night sky. Simply point your phone at the sky and you'll see details of exactly what's up there represented by a map in Google Sky Map.

STOW:
We have never gone on a trip where we didn't forget to pack something. Usually underwear. Stow is gonna help you. Offering packing list templates that can be adjusted for length and type of trip, you no longer have to worry about trying to remember everything you need. There aren't a lot of frills, but it's one of those apps you'll appreciate having when need-be.

|
All Trails:
With 50,000 trail guides in the U.S. and Canada alone it' not too difficult to work out why the AllTrails app has more than 1.5 million users. It's an easy way to find trails near you, whether you want a gentle hike, a bone-rattling mountain bike track, or a great spot for some fly-fishing.
