Worship this week - April 6th
|
Dr. McIvor's sermon is "Longing for Home" based on Ezekiel 37.1-14. Ezekiel had a vision of a valley filled with very dry, completely disconnected bones. In the vision God told Ezekiel to tell the bones, "Hear the word of the Lord." So Ezekiel preached to the bones and amazingly they came together, flesh came upon them, and they rose up as a vast multitude. In the middle of Lent we have this anticipation of resurrection and in the tale of the bones we can read the story of our coming home to God.
