Help Wanted in Hamilton: Online Job Vacancies, 1st Quarter, January-March 2014

doctors-nurses.jpg Did you know that the in-demand occupations in Hamilton include: sales and service; management; health; trades, transport, construction; and general help wanted?
 
Starting in 2013 Workforce Planning Hamilton (WPH) acquired reports on online job vacanies in the community and began releasing this valuable information to the community.  WPH continues this project into 2014 with the release of an infographic on online job vacancies for the 1st quarter of 2014 (January-March). 
 
Maple Leaf transfers production to prepared meats facility in Hamilton

Maple Leaf has closed its wiener production facility and is transferring production to its new prepared meats facility. Approximately 88% of the workforce (213 people) are being given employment at the new facility.
