February Membership Promotion
Bring  a "FRIEND" into the YMCA during the month of February and they will receive a FREE one week pass. If they decide to join the YMCA in February you the member will receive $10 Y Bucks to use towards Y merchandise.

We know that January is New Year's Resolutions month and we are hoping to help members keep moving in the right direction by bringing in a workout  "buddy" or friend with them.  And what a great way to promote the YMCA with Y Bucks used to purchase YMCA merchandise.
2014 Annual Campaign

The YMCA of Washington County Iowa kicked off its 2014 Annual Campaign on Feb. 6 at the J.P's 207 Restaurant with Guest Speaker Casey Kreiter, (Hawkeye Football Long Snapper) motivated and encouraged the 35+ crowd.  Coach Schrader (Washington Football Coach), Dennis Hunger, Josh Riffel and Mike Doughty continued the momentum by emphasizing  "We All Need the Y" .

The Annual Campaign helps provide membership and program assistance to children, families and seniors as well as raises funds for child care, community service opportunities, camp scholarships, membership, program assistance, and leadership development-ensuring everyone has an opportunity to benefit from YMCA programs, regardless of their ability to pay. The YMCA said that the need in 2014 is expected to be greater than ever.

At the Y, we believe in fostering the care and respect all people need and deserve, by responding to our communities' most critical social needs. The Y is a cause driven organization that empowers children and adults to reach their full potential. With everyone's help, we can reach our goal and continue to make a positive impact in our communities.

Overall, in 2014, The YMCA hopes to raise $75,000 with 100% of the donations to be used to fund programs at every branch of the YMCA of Washington County.
