Toy Drive

We are so grateful for our friends and pediatric cancer patients, Hunter Hepler of Nekoosa and Hailey Jackson of Baraboo, who organized a toy drive for other kids battling the disease. With the help of friends, family, and the AT&T Pioneers, they collected more than 400 toys and 2,000 personal care items, which BCCN will be able to distribute to Wisconsin kids fighting cancer. Way to go Hunter & Hailey! AND many thanks to their families and AT&T Pioneers.

If the holidays are here, that means it's time to think about giving. BCCN counts on your generosity to keep our programming, support offerings and parties going strong throughout the year.

Keeping the lights on, a roof overhead, a tankful of gas and a tummy filled with food is important for everyone and especially families who may be experiencing financial challenges due to a cancer diagnosis.

Please consider making a donation to support the important work we do to help families of children fighting cancer and other life threatening blood disorders.

Visit http://www.badgerchildhoodcancer.org/direct-donation/ to make a secure donation.

THANK YOU!

Our monthly SUPPORT GROUP will meet again on Wednesday, January 7...2015.
If you are a parent of a child who has just been diagnosed with cancer or a life threatening blood disorder, have a child in active treatment, are recently post-treatment or are a bereaved parent, there is a place for you at this group.
Join us at Vitense Golfland,  5501 Schroeder Rd.,
Madison, WI. Kids and teens welcome.

Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program

This program is in full swing and we cannot thank our generous donors enough. We have been blessed to have work groups from CUNA Mutual, UW Health, Humana, Mead and Hunt, Vilas Neighborhood Association, Rome Corners School, UW Hospital, the Fluno Center, WI Police Association, UW student organizations and many individuals step forward to shop, sort, and wrap for our families in need who have a child on intensive treatment at American Family Children's Hospital.

These wonderful elves have delivered gifts to our office and we have been arranging delivery to the families. We hope these gifts help families have a merry and bright holiday.
