Employee giving campaign season
is underway!
The campaigns for United Way, the "Partners In Giving" program for State, University and UWHC employees, and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), have kicked off! Please consider making a regular pledge to BCCN during your annual workplace giving campaign. This program is a great way to get into the holiday spirit! Each fall, we match area families in need who have a child on intensive treatment with generous members of the community who donate holiday gifts for the children in the family.
Parents supply a list of ideas for each of their children, and our Adopters go out and have some fun shopping!
These wonderful elves bring the gifts to our office, where we arrange delivery to the parents who then wrap the gifts and give them to their children.
If your family, classroom, community organization or workplace group would like to adopt a family at holiday time, please contact Executive Director, Susannah Peterson, at 608-231-8006.
