Flap Jack & Jill 5k/15k benefiting the Conservancy for CVNP

Saturday, May 3rd, Stanford House

Running this flat and fast course through the CVNP is a sweet (literally) way to show your support for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Play Pancake Trivia and the Maple Syrup Memory game prior to the race. A fun way to learn Jeopardy-worthy flap jack facts and win tasty prizes!

In the Spotlight - A 5k with Baseball, Beer, Food & Family Friendly Fun!

Sunday, June 1st, Canal Park

We've knocked it out of the park with this race! Bring your whole family for an afternoon of outdoor summertime adventure.

Game ticket and 2 beers or sodas are included with race registration. If that isn't exciting enough, shake out your legs by running the bases after the Ducks win the game!

Burning River 100 Relay

This Race is on Fire!

100 miles is comprised of 528,000 feet, approximately 200,000 steps. Sound like too much to tackle alone? Sign up for the new Burning River 100 Relay and participate in Northeast Ohio's premier ultra-running event on your own terms. Same course, same distance, same themed, party-like aid stations, now featuring a little help from your friends.

Thanks to a new partnership between Western Reserve Racing, the Conservancy for CVNP, and Cleveland Metroparks, you can now waive the BR100 registration fees by raising money for your favorite trails. Details available on our

Fools Race Report and Buckeye Buster

Our next endurance race is Buckeye Buster on Saturday, June 7th at Salt Fork State Park and Lodge. This race has something for everyone with 10M, 50k, and 50M options, great deals on lodging, and an outdoor pool!

Training for Burning River? Buckeye Buster is the perfect 50 Mile training run. Gather your friends and family and head to Salt Fork for an amazing summertime weekend.

Dirty Trail Series

Do Do Bird Say What? This year on May 24th, Dirty Bird will offer a 5K distance on the same twisty trails as the 15K. Looking for more distance? The Do Do Bird option combines both races for a wing-flapping 20K!

Bring your hatchlings out to Vulture's knob and give them a taste of the trails at The Baby Bird. This one mile trail fun run is great for all ages. They'll wear their medal with pride and be chirping with excitement for weeks!
