Service Unit Grants Now Available!

Want to have a service unit event?  Don't have the service unit funds? GSMH is offering service unit grants to help fund your service unit events. There are some pre-requisites that have to be met prior to completing the application; these can be found on the GSMH website. We also ask that each service unit consult with a staff leadership and learning specialist to help with the planning before the event is held. Funds will be awarded based on need, and priority will be given to first time applicants. Applications are available on the GSMH website, as well as at each service center; these must be submitted to a GSMH regional manager at least one month prior to the event.

Are your girls ready to take action?

Participate in the 2014 GSMH Council-Wide Service Project: The P.A.W.S Project: Pets Are Worth Supporting.  All Girl Scouts are invited to help the animal shelter of their choice by collecting dog or cat food, paper towels, or newspapers. This project runs from April 4-12, 2014 and can be completed in five simple steps.

GSMH will provide bags for Girl Scouts to distribute to friends, neighbors, and community members in which to place donations. These bags are available at your local service center. The girls will return a week later to collect the donations and donate the items to the animal shelter of their choice. Complete a P.A.W.S Project Report and submit to GSMH to receive the 2014 Council-Wide Service Project Patch.
