We have a fast, electronic way to check-in this year. If an email address has been provided, registered attendees will receive an email containing a personalized barcode. At the USHCC registration area in the Capital Hilton (Foyer 2), there will be check-in kiosks designated for VIPs/Sponsors and their guests, General Attendees and Media/Onsite Registration

Upon arrival, follow these simple steps to retrieve your Legislative Summit badge:

1) Go to designated kiosk
2) Scan barcode or enter name
3) Retrieve badge

There will be staff on hand to assist and answer questions. We look forward to seeing you!

The USHCC 2014 Legislative Summit begins with the Welcome Reception, where guests from across the nation will gather for the first time to be welcomed by USHCC leadership, honorary guest speakers, and special event sponsors. The Welcome Reception offers attendees a preview of the next 48 hours, along with the opportunity to network and celebrate the accomplishments of Hispanics business in America.

In 2008, Texans overwhelmingly re-elected Senator John Cornyn to represent them for a second six-year term in the U.S. Senate. Sen. Cornyn was first elected to the Senate in 2002 and previously served in Texas as a district judge, a member of the Texas Supreme Court, and as Texas Attorney General.

Mr. Geoff Morrell has been Senior Vice President and Head of US Communications & External Affairs at BP plc since September 2013. Mr. Morrell served as the Head of Communications for United States at BP America, Inc. since September 2011. Prior to joining the US Government, Mr. Morrell was a White House correspondent for ABC News. He spent 7 years at the network and 8 years prior to that reporting for local TV stations across the country.

Jackie Puente is an executive director for external affairs at Comcast, responsible for partnerships and engaging diverse stakeholders on policy issues at the core of the telecommunications and cable industry. Throughout her career, Ms. Puente has served as a translator between public, private, and nonprofit entities to promote change, and deliver positive outcomes in public policy
