  • current services
  • involvement
  • opportunities for seniors related to recreation and social participation
This information will help the City of Edmonton plan for current and future needs of seniors.

CONDOMINIUM REGULATION SURVEY

Service Alberta is seeking input from seniors which will inform new condominium regulations in the province. Comments on the draft regulations under the Condominium Property Act are being collected through an online or written survey.

Proposals contained in the draft regulations are the first set of amendments the Government of Alberta intends to bring into force as part of a multi-phased Bill 9 and Condominium Regulation Implementation Plan. The Phase 1 changes focus on new measures to protect buyers of new condominiums, including enhanced purchase disclosures and remedies, safeguards for handling purchase monies, and strengthened government investigation and enforcement of offences under the legislation.

Get more information on Bill 9, the regulations, and progress of the CPA review project.
