April 2015  |   Newsletter
Oaklanders,
I am happy to share with you the inaugural issue of my mayoral newsletter. From here on out I'll be connecting with you at least once a month to share important news about what's happening in our community and at City Hall. In addition, I will fill you in on how we're taking action at the regional, state and federal level to improve Oakland.

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
I also want this to be a chance to share your great ideas, answer your questions and address any concerns you have about what is happening in Oakland. You can reach out via email by clicking on the icon above or through social media. I'm on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also sign up for more regular alerts from my office using our gov.delivery system.

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING
Making our great city an even better and safer place to live, work and play is my top priority. One of the most important things I've been doing is assembling a great team in my office and across the hall in the City Administrator's Office -- with the selection of  Sabrina Landreth as City Administrator and as an Assistant City Administrator.

Read on to find out more about how to engage with me and the City Council as we work to adopt a new two-year budget and learn more about my four priorities as Mayor. You can also take a peek at some highlights from my first 100 days in office.

These are exciting times for Oakland and there is a lot of important work ahead where your input, investment and support will be needed. I look forward to partnering as we work to make Oakland better for all.

Best,
Libby
