Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation is coming into effect on
July 1, 2014. The Royal Society of Canada is making every effort to prepare for and comply with the regulations which are the most comprehensive in the world.  Most importantly we want to respect your time and share only the types of electronic communications you value.

Last year, Health Canada asked the Royal Society of Canada to review 'Safety Code 6'.  This is the dry label for a controversial issue of substantial public concern, the possibility that radiofrequency emissions used for devices such as cell phones may damage health.  Advances in technology led Health Canada to commission another report, which we delivered earlier in April this year.
