Direct Marketing Tips
June 2014
When considering the "what-if's" of attracting the customer, curb-appeal is a big deal when selling your home.  Just like curb-appeal in direct mail, it's the first thing the prospect sees.

You have 30 seconds or less to grab a reader's attention.  Use the address side of a postcard to accomplish this, with the goal of leading them to your desired call-to-action.  Use the other side to further your message.

Why try and get the reader's attention on the addressed side of a postcard? It is the side that is seen first and viewed more.  When mail arrives in your mailbox, the address side faces out.  The most important side of a postcard is the addressed side.  Unfortunately, in direct mail, many graphic designers will not design the postcard with this in mind.
