Funeral Arrangements
|
 Funeral arrangements have been announced for Nate Huffman, the Lakeview graduate and former professional basketball player who died Thursday at the age of 40 after a battle with bladder cancer.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home, 703 Capital Ave S.W. Battle Creek Mi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Wesleyan Church, 14425 S. Helmer Road. Battle Creek Mi. |

 Nate was diagnosed recently with stage IV bladder cancer and was dealing with symptoms at his home in Battle Creek in recent weeks, surrounded by his friends and his wife Michelle and 6-year-old son Christian.
Nate was the 7-foot-1, 1993 graduate of Lakeview and reached the heights of professional basketball in the late 1990s as one of the best players in Europe and later signed with the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. |
