GENERAL INFORMATION: Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity is hosting a Merit Badge University for Boy Scouts at Texas A&M in College Station. Over 30 merit badge classes are typically offered, including some Eagle Scout required badges.
The purpose of the MBU is to allow Scouts the opportunity to visit a college town, and to give Scouts the opportunity to earn merit badges in a college academic environment. Scouts also get access to resources that they would normally not have available to them at the local troop level. It is an opportunity for Scouts to work with university faculty and students.
