Twenty-seven students and adult volunteers from West Plano Presbyterian Church in Plano, Texas and San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Texas spent their Spring Break (March 10-15) volunteering their time and sprucing up the Pan Am campus.  In addition to planting native plants around the fountain area, volunteers cleaned the fountain and replaced the pump, and the fountain is now fully-functioning again. Volunteers also spent countless hours removing debris from the east side of the campus in preparation for the new loop road that is currently under construction. In addition, they joined our students in chapel services and field day activities throughout the week.

Fundraising Events in Dallas
A "Fiesta" dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser was held on Thursday, April 25, at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas. Approximately 250 guests, primarily from churches in the Dallas area, attended the event.  All proceeds benefitted the School's scholarship fund.  Several members of the Morris Chapel Choir provided musical entertainment at the event, and speeches were given by current student, Hefzi Jimenez, Pan Am alumni/ae Noe Hinojosa '79 and Ana Rosales Salazar '01, and the School's new President, Dr. Doug Dalglish.

In addition, a dinner for Pan Am alumni living in the Dallas area was held on Friday, April 26, at the home of Noe and Marcia Hinojosa.  This was an opportunity for alumni to gather together and also to meet Dr. Dalglish, who gave an update on the latest news from campus.
