We are inspired by the efforts of so many of our families to support PLP's Circle of Pride Annual Fund! The 3rd Grade is striving for 100% participation, and piggy banks are being emptied all over the Lake Norman area for the cause.

Keep it up over the weekend, and stay tuned for a VERY fun incentive for Middle and Upper School. Details next week.

Stay Alert on Campus

There have been some...distracting outfits on campus during Spirit Week but we need your attention and cooperation when you are driving to provide a safe campus.

Officer Parker, our School Resource Officer, has reported an increase in drivers not braking when being told to stop, and continuing to roll forward towards the crosswalk when students are crossing.

In addition, please refrain from dropping students off in the parking lot closest to the Fine Arts Building.  The lot was not created to support the flow of traffic or continued drop offs.  All students for Middle and Upper school must be dropped off in front of the Upper School for safety purposes. Thank you for doing your part to keep our campus safe.

Novemberfest is back at Pine Lake

- by Francine Castillo, Class of 2015

Pine Lake Preparatory will be holding its annual Novemberfest on campus on
Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm .

This year the event will include:
  • a chili cookoff
  • smore's around the campfire
  • fun school-spirited activities

Pine Lake will introduce their winter Basketball teams (Varsity, JV and Middle School), Cheerleaders, and Swimming & Diving teams, in their Athletic Community Center.

NovemberFest draws more than 600 people to the campus and creates a fantastic family event for the community. The cost is $5 which includes a sampling of chilis by Pine Lake's own chefs. All proceeds of the event will benefit the athletic department. Save the date for a fun-filled afternoon!

" These student athletes work so hard all year round that we felt it only made sense to recognize this hard work and celebrate the dedication towards their upcoming season.  "This year's event will be bigger and better than ever. Dress warm, pack the kids and come join us for a wonderful afternoon of Pine Lake athletics!" said Co-Athletic Director and Varsity Basketball Head Coach, Steve Treffiletti.
