The final program for One Book One Valley's tenth anniversary is "Composing A Life" by Mary Catherine Bateson, the daughter of Margaret Mead. Dr. Bateson's recent work has focused on the way social change affects the shape of lives and the task of life-long learning. She will talk about aging and wisdom as well as her mother, and how Mead's life and work influenced Bateson's own approach to aging.

Thanks to our friends at Valley Vision we were able to digitize a VHS tape in the Henney History Room that documents the ground breaking ceremony for the library addition. We plan to do more of this in the coming year.
