Roxborough Primary and Intermediate's Parent Teacher Involvement Committee (PTIC) was named PTO Today Magazine's 2015 National Parent Group of the Year.
Chaparral High School has received the highest award possible by the National Scholastic Press Association for its 2014-15 yearbook.

Berlin Barnett, a 7th grade honor roll student at Rocky Heights Middle School, won Grand Champion at the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society (RMDS) 2015 year end championships in Estes Park for the junior division Training Level dressage competition. Berlin, 12, competes in the up to 16 year old age category for her division. She and her horse, Nagano (or Noogie as she refers to him), also took Reserve Champion in the RMDS championships junior division for the First Level test. Berlin spends 12-18 hours a week at the barn riding and practicing for the sport, and she hopes to represent the United States at the Olympics.

Shine Summit
November 6
The second annual Shine Summit, geared towards DCSD high school girls, will be at  the PACE Center from  8:00 am - 2:30 pm . Girls will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions on issues such as healthy relationships, self confidence, leadership, self defense, and many more.
