Administrator's Corner

We have begun our CMAS testing this week and are excited to report that despite some minor glitches at the start, our kids and teachers persevered and showed true grit in getting the job done! We have been very proud of how diligent our Spartans have been throughout the week and look forward to a strong finish.

I also wanted to take the opportunity to remind you and your student to please be sure that you have completed your choice of studies for the 2015-2016 school year. The window for students to select classes ends on March 13th at 4 p.m.. You can either follow the links on this newsletter or go to www.tjjournal.com/counseling to find out how to register.

I want to say thank you to the TJ community for your continued support, and I look forward to a great spring!

Have a good day,

Mike Christoff
Assistant Principal

The Bucket Challenge is Here!
Time to rally for TJ! We're raising money to improve the vital areas where students learn and build community--the library and common areas--plus a new study lounge.
You've heard of the ALS ice bucket challenge? Well, this is the TJ Bucket Challenge.
Step 1: Accept the Challenge
Step 2: Make a Donation

Step 3: Spread the Word
Gather your friends, family, neighbors or alumni because...
We Challenge You To
Make A Splash!
Or don't. Seriously, we're not asking anyone to dump buckets of icy water overhead in Colorado at this time of year. That would be crazy. But we are asking you to get crazy creative with whatever you can easily, safely  pour from a paint bucket, capture on video, and share via social media and email.  Get your friends and family involved-spread the word!
In addition to a 5-gallon bucket, you will need something (inexpensive!) and pour-able:
  • Gold confetti, or
  • Yellow pudding, or
  • Gold and brown balloons, or
  • (Insert creative idea here ______)

    plus
  • Someone to video
  • Someone to post using hashtag #TJBucketChallenge
  • A good friend to help you clean up... 100%
Be thoughtful, use good judgment, and have fun while helping TJ to raise funds for a great cause and a great school!
Then   go directly to our Indiegogo page  and make your tax-deductible donation of $5 or $5000--your donation of any amount will move us closer to our goal of $15,000.
Whether you skip the paint bucket and head directly to the donation bucket is up to you. Whatever action you take, please share the fundraising link by email and in your social media spaces. It certainly does take a village!
Way to go TJ!
