FOCUS ON THE FUTURE 

The Rector Search Committee will be hosting brief information sessions after each service this weekend. Please join us to learn more about the search process and our upcoming focus group sessions, Focus on the Future. The focus groups will provide an opportunity for you to share your hopes for a new rector and our church. We will incorporate your input into our Parish Profile, which potential candidates will use as part of their discernment process.  Our Parish Profile should reflect Christ Church's past, present and vision of the future, and we will need everyone's participation to provide a complete picture.

 

We will have opportunities for elementary students through adults to share their thoughts. Click here to sign up for available sessions. Please note that sessions marked "all ages" include specific break out groups for elementary, middle and high school children. Childcare will also be provided during these "all ages" sessions for children 0-5.

HAVE A 4th or 5th GRADER?

Our annual Club 45 Mission Weekend will be held on August 21-22. Students will serve our community through local mission projects while building relationships with each other through fun activities. We'll start in the GCC at noon on Friday and finish up around 2:00 PM Saturday. Register your child now. 

INCREASED SECURITY

In an effort to provide a safer environment for our preschoolers and Kids' Quest participants, video surveillance cameras have been installed around the entrances to the Education Building. These cameras will monitor activity 24 hours a day and record all traffic in and out of the Education Building. Thanks for your support!

Want to listen to "Hear Our Praises," the new Youth Choir recording? A limited number of CDs will be available for checkout in the church library starting next week.


Hope of the Nations

Hope of the Nations series and share about the diversity of our Anglican Communion in Southeast Asia. 

Office Hours
At the suggestion of the Interim Rector, the church office will be closed on Friday afternoons August 1, 8, 15 and 22.
Tickets are going fast for Faith Night at the Diamond!
Join your Christ Church friends for a night with the Richmond Squirrels. Gates open at 6:00 PM with special music, a great baseball game, player witnesses and FIREWORKS! The CCE Hospitality Team has reserved 100 spots in the Silver Reserved section. Make your reservations through CCE Online for $7 for each ticket or call the church office and we'll take care of it for you. Once you purchase your tickets,  just stop by the Red Group Sales Tent at the Diamond to pick them up on Aug. 7.
