The Biggest Week in Our Galaxy
We are Packed, We are Ready ... the Fun Starts Tomorrow During Preview Night!

If Maryelizabeth is sporting new hair colors, it must be time for Comic-Con International! Join the Mysterious Galaxy booksellers in our Exhibitor Hall Booth, Booth #1119, in a number of publishing partner booths on the floor, and upstairs in the convention center under the sails in the convention's official Autograph Area. Genre fiction has been an intrinsic part of Comic-Con since its inception more than four decades ago, and readers will delight in opportunities to listen to and visit with more than 100 attending authors -- and pick up copies of their books from MG, including several SDCCI exclusive early on-sale titles.

And Thursday offers a great opportunity for Southern CA mystery fans ... Daniel Silva at the JCC, discussing a variety of topics including the Syrian civil war, the Arab Spring, and the mechanics of real-life art theft. More on this event is just below.

New books on-sale this week include M.D. Waters' Prototype, sequel to the acclaimed Archetype; David Rosenfelt's Hounded and L.A. Kornetsky's Doghouse for canine and feline mystery fans; and Jeff Smith's perfectly timed Goodnight Darth Vader.

To be in the know about events after CCI, and for hot new reviews, check out our August newsletters. The August Plot Thins is at the printer, and available now on-line .

Have a great week. We look forward to seeing you in our store and communities, including Comic-Con... and we thank you very much for your continued support.
