A Foal is Born

Spring is in full swing, and the dance of life is rich with new and unexpected variations.  For the last three years, our daughter, Elisa has enjoyed exploring the equestrian world riding a bay pony named Star.  Elisa's bond to Star, her first pony, has grown so close that when it was time for her to move up to ride a bigger pony we decided to bring Star to the farm to retire.  Not only that, but Constance and Elisa also conspired to breed her one last time.  Last Sunday night Star decided it was time, and birthed a beautiful baby colt. Summer Camps at Live Earth Farm

Live Earth Farm Discovery Program Summer Camps offer a unique opportunity to engage with the food the Farm grows.  Camps are in depth field-to-fork experiences, each lasting a whole week. Campers get their hands dirty exploring pieces of the Farm's 150 acres, learning about life as an organic vegetable farmer, and discovering the benefits of humane livestock management by assisting with the daily chores caring for our goats and chickens.
All of the summer camps include a Leader in Training program for teens. Scholarships are available.
