Make your move!

Make your move!

When dealing with violence, very often people feel they only have two options: to physically get involved or do nothing at all. MVP is a leadership program that motivates both men and women to play a central role in solving problems that historically have been considered "women's issues" such as rape, battery, and sexual harassment. This program utilizes a creative "bystander" approach to gender violence and bullying prevention.

The goals of the MVP Program are to:

» Challenge thinking by countering mainstream messages about gender, sex and violence.

» Open dialogue by creating a safe environment for men and women to share their opinions and experiences

» Inspire leadership by empowering participants with concrete options to effect change in their respective communities

Dates: 1/22, 1/29, 2/12, 2/19

Time: 3-5pm

Location: Albany campus, Armory room 102

All members of the Sage Community are encouraged to be a part of our mission to raise awareness and end sexual violence.

If you are interested in either the MVP program or joining Sage ASAP (The Alliance for Sexual Assault Prevention) please contact Brianna Valesey at valesb@sage.edu
