Growth Through Regionalism

Regionalization needs to be the way we consider our planning, growth and future in the marine industry. Many of the guidelines we can draw on were outlined last year with development of the "Seven50" plan, a 50-year blueprint to help ensure economic prosperity and the best-possible quality of life for the seven counties of Southeast Florida. Its goal and ours is to create stronger, more diverse communities, a cleaner environment and a stronger economy for the region.

37th Annual MIASF Waterway Cleanup

MIASF�s 37th Annual Waterway Cleanup on March 1 improved 28 sites across Broward County including parks, boat ramps and canals and the land leading up and water adjoining them. Each year the Cleanup attracts thousands of volunteers from many neighborhoods and communities throughout Broward County.
