At The Well Ministries Summertime 2014

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

                                                   II Corinthians 10:4-5

Doesn't get better than this!  Standing outside the Modesto Abortion Center, my fellow laborer Spence and I enjoy this summer's fruit of our labor:  A precious little baby saved right on this spot months before.  The grandmother brought the baby out to encourage us and thank us for our efforts.  It works!

While in Southern California I arrived at the Museum of Tolerance near Beverly Hills for a morning of witnessing to the crowds paying to see displays of intolerance in the world.  Except there is not one photo or mention of the slaughter of 56 million babies in America.

So I offered our information on the American Holocaust to those going in and asked the management of the museum to include the most tragic act of intolerance as part of their displays inside.

And what do I get for my caring efforts?

The head of security and his comrades, in an act of intolerance, called the police and tried to have me arrested.

Pastor Tom Smith from Central Baptist Church in Pomona (in the blue shirt) joined me for this outreach and listened to the intolerant behavior of the museum officials.

The security tried to keep us from offering our materials to the visitors.  The police told us we were fine and seemed to find some humor in being called to the tolerance museum.

          -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One sad moment came when an older Jewish man taking his family into the museum turned towards me pointing to the photo of an aborted baby I was holding. With hatred in his eyes and voice, he said, "That is nothing, you are nothing, and you should have been aborted."

         -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

What really caught me by surprise was being approached by this Muslim man wanting to join me in protest of a Jewish business.

After some clarification, I enjoyed a challenging dialogue with him on who is the real Jesus.

We exchanged emails and I have started a great witnessing opportunity.

Pray for Matthew.  That's right - his real name.

We must be about the Master's work, "Going into all the world."

I am Don Blythe of At the Well Ministries. This ministry of 30 years uses the abortion issue as a springboard for sharing the Gospel.

My mission field comprises three main areas of outreach: the abortion mills, high schools, and college campuses.

The email newsletters you receive give a hands-on look at what this ministry is all about.

I do not use the content of the letters to talk about financial support, and for 31 years the Lord has supplied my needs through the prayers and financial support of a small number of churches and individuals who believe in what I do and have seen the fruit of this labor.

If you desire to support my ministry, you can do so through regular mail or through the CashLinq donation link provided. CashLinq is a Christian direct-giving program that allows you to follow your giving history, and the cost to At the Well Ministries is minimal.

At The Well is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
