Greetings!

National Volunteer Week is April 6-12!

Happy National Volunteer Week! This year marks the 40th anniversary of nationally recognizing and honoring our country's volunteers for their vital contributions. Here at JFCS we are saying thank you to all of our volunteers; recognizing them through Facebook and Twitter and planning our annual Thank You events which are held in the spring.

Research shows volunteering not only accomplishes significant goals and supports amazing causes, but it bolsters our own health and happiness!

At JFCS, we are proud of our more than 900 volunteers and grateful for all you do each and every day to make our community a better place. We could not do it without you! In your honor, please save the date -- Wednesday, May 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for our annual Volunteer Appreciation event. It's sure to be a treat!

Read on for ways you and your family can keep volunteering! And thank you from the bottom of our big JFCS heart for all you do!
