Last Call for our Trendsetter Adventure!
Shop the Warehouse!

Barry Klein
Join us Saturday December 5th for a unique experience where we get to go "Behind the Scenes" at Trendsetter Yarns!

We're so excited about this upcoming adventure where we'll get to shop the 10,000 Sq Foot Warehouse full of fabulous yarns!

We've worked with our good friends at Trendsetter to set up a fun and fiber filled day in Van Nuys at Trendsetter.  He and his staff are also excited to give us a glimpse at their facility as well as show us some new yarns that most won't see until the TNNA show in January!

Don't miss this exciting opportunity!

As you may know, we'll be closed on December 25th, one of the two days a year we close the shop. We hope you can enjoy a day with your friends and family. We're also grateful for those that must work as they make life better for us all. So thank you to all the hospital workers, military personnel, police, fire, and so many other people that make our world a better place in which to live. Happy Holidays, fiber friends.

Yarn Bowls
They're back!

We're so happy to offer these custom-made yarn bowls, hand made here in Cambria by Patricia Griffin Ceramics.

These have been so popular, we've had a hard time keeping them in stock. So we'd say if you want one, get them now!

Six Fingers
25% Off Anniversary Celebration!

We have a hard time imagining it's been 6 years since we re-opened the little yarn shop in Cambria. A lot has happened since 2009, the biggest event being our move to Main Street in our greatly expanded showroom over three years ago. Our location on the corner of Bridge and Main is 3 times the size of the old shop on Burton! (The original shop, as you may know, was actually in the West Village for the first 2 years)

To celebrate, we decided to offer a wide variety of yarns in the shop at 25% off. With brands such as Rowan, Noro, Trendsetter, and Debbie Bliss on the list, there's bound to be something you'd enjoy! these prices are good until the end of the year, so snap them up today, either in the shop or on-line.
Pricing on In-Stock items only while supplies last.

Auntie WoolyAuntie Wooly Says...

Dahlings!

It's hard to believe that 2015 is almost over! We like it when it turns  little cooler. Yes, even in Cambria it gets cooler in the winter and it becomes even better to knit or crochet.

It makes me think about what a great value this addiction... I mean hobby... of ours. I hear people say that it seems expensive to buy, say, an Arizona Dream kit to knit or crochet a throw or two shawls. I suppose I look at it a bit differently. I usually take about 40 hours to knit up one of the throw patterns. If we use $200 for the kit, it's only about $5 an hour of fun  and entertainment. As a great bonus, when I'm done I have an incredible, hand-dyed throw to keep or share with a loved one.

The same with other projects. I can knit or crochet a hat from a single skein of Manos Maxima or Gloria and help out women in Uruguay!

Overall, I find that knitting with quality yarns so much less expensive than almost any other hobby or entertainment. Movies and TV have gotten so expensive, it's hard to believe. And indulging in a needle art also helps me relax and keep my mind active and my fingers moving!

Just food for thought as you're looking at ways to save money and improve your life at the same time.

Thank you all!
