We are happy to announce our grand opening! Please join us Saturday, October 24, between Noon and 7:30pm to meet our practitioners and check out our new boutique. We've been working diligently for the past two months to get the Studio tricked out for current and future clientele. After moving things around 10-20 times (ha!) I think we've settled on a floor plan... at least for the winter. We look forward to serving you with 'barefoot' class offerings and unique gifts for many years to come. -- Qily, DaoShima

EXPERIENCE A CLASS WITH OUR PRACTITIONERS
We are planning a series of mini sessions throughout the day so you can appreciate the range of classes we offer and get to know our very talented practitioners. Since they all study in different lineages, you will get a broad understanding of the vital life force "Qi" that courses through all living things.

Our Qigong classes include seated and standing sessions and vary on the amount and range of movements performed. While Shaking Qigong is very energetic, other forms can be very slow and mindful.

Tai Chi Chuan classes will help you coordinate upper and lower body movement and improve your balance. We teach the 'slow-motion' Yang Style. These forms are taught in a series, going from 10-Movement to 24-Movement to Long Form. It generally takes three to six months to feel confident in your movement.

Our dance classes include the ancient Indian Temple Dance called Odissi. This art is rooted in Yogic movements that fuse feminine and masculine energies through fluid movement and footwork. Tribal Belly Dance is our newest addition. We will have more information on this once our teachers confirm their schedule.

BED BATH & BEYOND REGISTRY
If you want to bring a gift, check out our gift registry. Due to naming constraints we chose "House Warming," as they have no "Business Warming" registry... yet. Here's an online link:

If you go to the store, here's what they require:  Registry Type: Housewarming (defaults to Wedding); First Name: Daoshima; Last Name: Susan; Registry No:542121932

Plum Blossom Boutique

Plum Blossom is proud to announce US Trademarks for Jade Lady Designs and Mad Monk Arts. Jade Lady Designs is focused on wearable arts and fabric, while Mad Monk is dedicated to scroll work and carvings that use unique wood, stone and ivory.
Plum Blossom Logo

We have jewelry from two local artists: Monica Koethke and Kathy Strandlie. Monica has lovely scrollwork that adorns old keys and watch gears. Kathy's work highlights crystals and unique stones.

In support of our 'sister' organization, Jade Dragon Sanctuary, we offer a collection of logoed products to aid in their non-profit mission of creating a garden sanctuary.

Plum Blossom also carries a wide variety of doTerra essential oils and blends. This is a great way to boost your immune system and help your body heal itself. Curious? Come to our monthly classes. There's always time to ask questions and play with the oils. Mostly, classes are free but for the holidays we have Make & Take classes that have a small fee for the product.
