Early Spring Fabrics

This early spring collection tells the story of emerging spring in its colors and its fabrications.  Lightweight wools and silks are perfect for blazers and suits; linens begin to come into their primary season and rayons make the transition easily via their print design and color.  We hope you'll enjoy this harbinger of spring.

Keira
If you are looking for a print that embraces the spring 2014 palette, this rayon jersey knit captures it well.  Abstract florals tell the color story and flow easily into one another for an all over print that is flattering and stylish for tops and dresses. Rayon/spandex.

Blueberry linen
Crossweave of clear blue and navy creates a rich blueberry 100% linen. No one can resist this color...so rich, so calm. Wear a dress, jacket or suit in this pretty blue linen and you will feel comfortable and appropriate in many settings from casual to work to dress.

Golden Papaya
luxury wool silk

If your wardrobe works with warm tones, this is a must-have for jacket or suit. Rich papaya yellow twill will blend with browns or warm neutrals along with brights such as orchid purple or azure blue. The wool/silk blend is particularly suited to transitional seasons

Blaze
jersey knit

Caramel and cobalt flames are highlighted with cayenne as they shoot forth over a deep purple and navy ground. Choose this ITY knit jersey for a stylish top to accent a suit or make a full dress. The print is manageable for the length of a dress and has a linear quality to it. Poly/spandex.
Spice Shak
silk wool tweed

Looking for that go-to jacket for transitional seasons? This silk and wool blend imported from Italy will make up into a practical, yet striking, blazer to throw on with jeans, pants or skirts. The nut and spice tones of the tweed are neutral with warm undertones. Random tics of bright colors in the red family are subtly hidden in the tweed, giving it a kick up from the traditional.

Jennifer on washing Japanese denim

" I want to share some exciting news about Japanese Denim... It doesn't shrink a measurable amount! After washing a swatch 3 times, the width did not change an amount that I could measure. ...and even more interesting, the length measurement grew to a full 1/4" longer than the unwashed swatch. I think this may be due to how tightly this denim is woven...."
