W Encourager Header
Welcome to EFC-ER's Weekly Encourager. We trust that this will become a bright spot each week in your emails. The purpose of the Weekly Encourager is to provide up-to-the minute information about region-wide events, prayer requests and helpful resources from the local churches. We will close each email with a quick quote and/or survey to gather helpful resources from leaders to share with our wider Friends family.

Camp Gideon is looking for...
* Sleeping Bags!

Do you have extra Sleeping Bags?

Camp Gideon is looking for sleeping bags in good condition. We want to create a supply for campers who do not have one, forgot theirs, or had theirs inconvenienced.

If you do have sleeping bags you wish to donate, you can take them to The World Outreach Center in Canton, or bring them to Camp Gideon when you bring your camper down!

Thank you so much!

All of the 2014 Yearbooks were mailed by Friday, May 16th.
(Please be sure to make the necessary updates to copies as they arrive at the church. Details and supplements have been included with each mailing.)

     * The updated site has expanded explanations for kids/campers.
     * And a great summary of benefits of each camp for parents.

Last week, Wayne & Regina Evans traveled to Taiwan Yearly Meeting to participate in Taiwan's 60 Year Anniversary Celebration.

Photos and a summary will be posted on the website early next week.

There is also a limited number of Taiwan Yearly Meeting prayer directories available at the WOC.  If you are a prayer warrior who would like to use this tool, please contact Regina Evans at World Outreach center, 330-493-1660 and we will mail you one on a first come, first served basis.

Now is the time to register for summer activities!
Check out the Camp Gideon schedule, review the Youth Ministry options and let's pray and plan to give kids meaningful memories this summer.
Please keep in mind that we will be needing teen volunteers to help with the Children's Ministry Program during Yearly Meeting. More details will be coming in the next few weeks. If you have teens who have a heart for children, save the Yearly Meeting dates (July 19-22) for them to volunteer.
Church Meal Coordinators:
Looking for a great way to organize meals for a family at church?
There's a wonderful website that will allow volunteers to log in, select a date & post what they're bringing.
There is also a place for meal recipients to list favorite foods or allergies, etc. Check it out!
