Religious School Happenings
We are off and running!  I'm very pleased with our students and staff this year. Watch for an increase in communication coming very soon: we are working on new blogs, more interaction with the OLC (Online Learning Center), and our latest newsletter coming soon.  Thanks for your patience as we all get comfortable with some new formats this year.  We'll keep you updated as we progress.

SAVE THE DATE for our artist-in-residence program on Sunday, Nov. 1. We are delighted to host Mordechai Rosenstein for a family program at 10:00 that morning!  Please see the information in the link below under Jacksonville Jewish Center Events.  Our program will be especially for Religious School students of all ages and their parents.  Please also note that we will have a late start that morning (10:00 am).  We will continue to send reminders.

Mazel tov to Hazzan Holzer on the birth of a little girl last Friday, and to our former student, Jake Lansaw, on his upcoming Bar Mitzvah.

Enjoy the rest of your week,
Lois

A Message from Religious School Principal, Lois Tompkins

Let's Support Sydney's Bat Mitzvah Project!

One of the requirements for me to become at Bat Mitzvah, is to complete a Mitzvah Project. A Mitzvah Project is just one way for me to learn and understand that we are all responsible to try to make our world a better place. For my Mitzvah Project, I have chosen to collect items that are needed for Little Star Center.

Little Star Center is a private, non-profit school that provides comprehensive, affordable, individualized education and behavioral services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays.
